In a time when artistry meant pencil, paper, and pure determination, he taught himself to tattoo using machines he built by hand, learning through relentless trial and error. The early 1990s brought him to Queens, New York, where he planted roots that remain to this day. Armed with professional equipment and an unshakeable drive to master his craft, he transformed early experiments (and a few regrettable tattoos on brave friends and family) into refined skill.
